My first shakedown pass went 130, on the motor, going through in 3rd gear, with the wrong rear gears...
You'll be shocked at how fast some of the cars will be.

If this is going to be in october and somewhere near Iowa I will have a motor back in my car and will be there. I would need to get a cage in there so that I can pass the inpection. It will be nice to see some of your guys set-ups. I want to shoot for high 9's next year and I think I can learn a few things by talking to the ones that are already there.

i'm about 85-90% sure i'd be able to make it as long as it's within about a 12 hr drive. just ran a 10.6 @127mph in 7000'DA (hobbs, nm) w/ 152* inlet temps. (damn a/a intercooler) i'm by no means the fastest, but i'd be willing to lose to another quick LTX! only thing i'd need is somebody to help me tune a FAST system at the track. doubt my tuner would make the trip w/ me since he's a mustang guy.
