I've seen the Tulsa track.. It's pretty nice - though I've only seen it from a distance. And it's fairly central to boot.

Just passing through the thread though

Tim,

lol! yeah i'll bring the canadian!!!

Tony,

when i read 2K, my first thought was not a good track, that is cheap for an all day rental. p.s. she is back on her feet nsca went out the window thanks to a trans co. in the detroit area that pretty much f#@&ed me! i won't mention who it is. but Tim knows them real well!!! i felt your pain! shhh Tim! Joe and Amber at T56 realy helped me out!!!!!!!!!!!! again they rock, but alas I ran out of time due to the trans shop lack of "project management".

and hey if we do it down my street i will for sure come to the event, heck i will even supply the VHT, lmmfao!!!

on the beer man. I'm just gonna leave mine at home so you don't poor it out on the ground again.

I heard about your experience with that tranny place. I'm amazed that after all this time they are still operating with the same ineptitude that I had to deal with years ago. I also heard that T-56 really came through for ya. I guess I know who to go to next if I need to do this again.

Since everyone is sugesting local tracks. No problem raceway is one of hte best in the nation..and State capital raceway is pretty dang good also. Its central south..lol.

Guys I appreciate everyone suggesting those said local tracks but the idea again is to keep it centralized. If we race in Texas or Lousianna, we will mainly see southern people come. If we race on the East Coast the majority of the East coast guys will be there....vise versa...etc. I would like to see cars from all over the states and Canada make this event. So it needs to be as centralized as possible to give everyone a chance to make it.

Taner.....pm the details on that fiasco. What happened now?

tony,

just shoot me a pm with your ph. # and I can call you. i will shoot you mine. feel free to call. i have to go outside and put another coat of paint on the floor of my new 28' enclosed trailer. i picked it up for myself two days agon, on my birthday it is really nice!

Tim,

i was surprised when stephen mentioned it. ditto for NPR, that track rocks!!! unfortunately it is a 2 day drive.

other than a considerable header leak, on #3 & 5 cylinders, mine is ready to rock!!!! i will try to get to it before next weekend, but i won't let it stop me from racing because of that!

saying that Joe and Amber rock is an understatement, let me put it this way, i considered BMR the benchmark for incredible customer service, they showed me that about 5 yers ago. well, Joe and Amber/T56 Rebuilds are on the same pedestal in my book!!! i just wish they weren't so damn far away! they are much like madman as well.

you should just do it in memphis like the lsx shootout is going to be at, it is a 9.5 hour drive from houston and some of the northern states are around the same length drive, it is a pretty central location and alot of people would probably come

Memphis is 18 hrs + from the East Cost. I will make the drive but I think BG or something in that area would be more central.
