I love Florida but it sucks getting anywhere out of state when you live in South Florida.. takes forever just to get out of this state!

Multiple locations (2) may be a good idea. If more people will come to a closer location to them, why not. I think the class breakdown will have a big affect too. Lets say you have a 11 sec. power adder and there is only 1 power adder class. With heavy hitters like Big Rick, Tony, Tanner, and others, is it going to be worth your while to drive 12+ hours and know you are not going to be competitive. I know some will say " there will probably be index classees" but its not the same as heads up racing. I am going to try to come regardless. I am lucky in the fact that I am relativley close to a central location (7 hours or less) but if the one and only race was in Texas or Vegas, I don't think I could afford the trip (I will probably have to a rent a trailer and possible a truck too.) Maybe we could do a poll on who would be more willing to come if the race was at 2 locations. Example- Vegas and Bowling Green. Just a thought.

What about Wichita International Raceway in Kansas? Anyone know anything about that track?
Here is the replied email from them:
Tony - sounds great - you are looking at about $2000 - that's for a saturday race date. It would be less for a sunday or friday event date - just let me know - thanks - Wayne Roberts 316-###-###8
So at this track the rental is $2000.00. Does that sound reasonable to everyone? Could we have enough participants to cover this fee? What is the track like? Plenty of pit area...etc. What do you guys think?

Tony, some of the local bracket racers have been up to Witchita, and said it was a real **** hole. Do you want me to ask about the Tulsa track? The cars would have to pass IHRA tech, but it is easier than NHRA.

I sent Jeff from KCIR an e-mail to have him contact someone from here. Unfortunately I do not work there this week, but I will be there this weekend for the Super Chevy show, and will try to hit him up then if he is not busy.
