Well guys. KCIR has not gotten back with me. I called and left message and also emailed and they have not responded. Maybe Tony (speed density) has talked to them.

Tony-

Forward me the e-mail that you sent them. I know a person or two that works there, I might be able to pull some strings. ponyhntr @ hotmail.com

I will put up a thread on a local Kansas City racer forum I'm on and see if there's anyone on there that's got some connections to KCIR.

No need to put it on KCSR. I've got about the closest connections there you can get. I work there, part time.

One thing to also consider about KCIR is that they have been extremely busy all week getting ready for PINKS! to be there Friday and Sat. filming new episodes, including the one that LS1Tech is participating in. I'll see what I can do this weekend/first of next week.

Tony sorry I haven't checked out this thread. been super busy lately....

Depending on when and where I would defintely be down to attend. When is more important than where to me personally.... I'd come as far as i needed to provided it's not on the east coast.. since i'd be coming from california....

Texas would be doable as would KC..... I'd be happier if it was Arizona or nevada (HEY What about vegas?????) doable drive for most and might be easier to get the wives to come if it's in vegas.....

Vegas is not centrally located.
Kansas City or St Louis is centrally located.

Sorry I live in the middle of the continental US. Sorry you live in Cali.
A compromise has to be made and Kansas or Missouri makes the most sense to get an even distribution of East coast and West coast guys.

It really doesn't matter to me where it is, if its KCIR or Heartland Park Topeka then I will be there if not then I won't.

Vegas is about 18 hours from KC, those nice speed limits (west of KS) and
the canyons in CO, AZ and NM make it a fun trip. I could do without the Utah
run though, I'm still finding sand behind body panels when I work on the van.
If I never seen Green River again, it'll be too soon.

The problem with centrally located is that your equally too far from everyone.
If we move the race North, people in the south will get upset, if we move it
West we'll anger the easterners ...
