Sorry the manufacture just let me know today that they are having some manufacturing issues so it may be awhile before there out.

The manufacturer sucks ***. Based on your "very soon now" I've put off dropping the motor into my car for a couple months... looks like it'll get pacesetters. While I'd have liked SS headers, I'll never replace coated headers just to go stainless, there would be no performance reason to do so.

And it looks like I should have taken note of the fact that XS never bothered to reply to my direct inquiries. Looks like more of the same BS they have always pulled.

What's it take to get kicked off Ebay, anyway?

It's not the manufactures fault. They sent me the first off sample of the productions ones and I installed them and was not happy with the way a couple of the pipes fit. So I made some changes to the two pipes and now they have to re-jig them and send me another sample before production can start. We are only trying to make them the best fit they can possibly be. Sorry for the extra wait but I'm sure it will be worth it in the end.

I can't remember if it's been asked and going back through 8 pages can be a pain... But are these being made in 1-7/8th sizes?

Thanks for the update. Honestly, even though the wait will be a little longer than expected, I'm really happy to hear that you're taking extra steps to ensure that we'll get a quality product, rather than following alot of other companies' examples of skipping the R&D process to throw something together so that it can start generating profits as quick as possible. Especially right before Christmas when the timing couldn't have been more ripe to do so.

The LT1 market is flooded with enough junk parts as it is.

Yea I'd rather wait a little longer to get a quality header instead of a rushed POS. So how about some pics of them.

Make that +2 for the pics.

I think it would lend greatly towards credibilty and reassurance that the headers are indeed making progress if we could see the "prototype" set.

Plus, it would let us feel a little closer to actually being able to order them

Well now you guys are making me feel bad. I didn't even think about taking any pictures when I had them. I know longer have them I already sent them back. They were not very pretty anyways. The samples are just made out of regular steel exhaust pipe not the polished stainless that the production ones will be made out of. Sorry.

I'd rather wait for a product that fits right. Then again I have other stuff to do and need to save more money anyway, so as long as they're out within a few months I'm happy.

I think i might pick up a set of kooks. I don't know when these are comming out, What sizes they will come in. All I know is that I need to make a attempt to get the car ready for the LTX shootout and waiting around isnt going to help that matter.

Sorry for the delay but we want to make sure everything fits as good as possible and it's a lot of work to redo everything while we have a lot of other projects going on at the same time. But I'm sure they will be worth the wait
