Default LT4 heads?

Will the AFR 227 LT4 heads work with the normal LT1 block? And also, does anyone make a sheetmetal intake for these heads?

You'll have to look around for the sheetmetal intake and expect to pay $$$. You don't necessarily have to have one as an Edelbrock LT4 will work, but even ported may still bottleneck your air flow.

I would go with a the ram style intake manifolds the big hp guys are using..

They are feul injected and use a carb manifolds that have been converted, with dog house on top with a big throttle body...

I was thinking about doing that, and I figured it would be good for better distribution, but I don't know that that would be the case.. I think that is only for Nitrous? At least that is my theory. That and I think it would be a pain to fab up a pipe from the throttle body to the ProCharger..

I think you could probably use a carb hat for that. Talk to ATI about it. I am pretty sure no matter what your induction, a single plane manifold is gonna give you much better distribution than a forward fed intake.

So I take it that is not just nitrous injections then, it is for most power adders?
