porting problem

I pulled the intake today to start porting and didn't realize the heads have to be ported also I thought just the intake had to be matched, my question is can the heads be port matchedstill on the car and does anyone have any tips or steps to doing this. Thanks in advance.

Don't be doing any porting with heads on the car! Too much fine metal.

Well, if you taped off the valley and filled the intake runner with say....playdough or somthing it is possible, but that is just off the top of my head, good luck.
