All custom........

Its way easyer to do a LS1 swap...

LT5 shares nothing at all with a LT1 just the name

If you look at it..the LT5 and LS1 are very close with the Bore/Stroke specs..

Can I ask how you even know this really is a LT5?

Have you scene it?

This sounds very far fetched.....it really does and having fun finding parts

But people have made 1000hp plus with those motors, and yeah there really rich who build them lol

Yea, the dude I posted pics of, is actually LOCAL to me, which I thought was cool. I bet he'd buy it off you for a few grand just to salvage anything and anything that is!

I believe that Wheel to Wheel did this conversion years ago. It requires extensive modification to the kmember and strut towers. It is not a driveway job. The physical dimensions of an LT5 are far different than that of a standard sbc or ls series engine.

I love the LT5 and have thought about picking up a ZR1 but I'd pass on transplanting a LT5. IMHO too much work for too little gain. If you really can get a complete LT5 for 100 bones buy it let ebay make you some money.
