Im wanting to use my stock spring but still lower the car an inch. I;ve heard of a "hose" mod that gives me this effect. anyone have a write up on how to do this? What do i sacrifice with this mod?

i have done this mod, remove the spring and pull the rubber spring pad out get about 5" of 5/8 HD heater hose slide onto a coil and reinstal.
i do not think it is quite a full inch of drop.
my car rides the same(the spring height is not altered)but it does set the body down a bit.

heater hose mod. you take the spring perches off the top of the rear springs and slide a piece of heater hose around the top coil so it provides a soft "insulation" between the body and the spring. you'll drop about 3/4"-1" after it.

lol You could put the hhose mod in the front, and not do the back and then it would level it out reversely like a lift kit of sorts heh.

I'm kinda pissed off (life), tired, and some other feeling I dont know. I feel like going in the garage and going this. I'll eff something up buit I don't care heh
