pass side plugs and wires

I am already cursing at the bird, how the hell do you guys swap out the plugs and wires on the passenger side.
So far i took off the alternator, I am hoping i dont have to drop the exhaust(stock manifolds)

I think it might be easier to drop the y and the starter
but don't quote me on that, it's been a long time since I've done a non-header LT1
I only remember that it sucks . . . lots

curse those at GM, got the front two now comes the rear (6,8)

any sugestions on the #8 plug? looks like its impossible without the starter or y pipe dropped

WITH THE ALT OFF you should have no problem gettin the plugs out especially with stock manifolds

I had mine jacked up, and I was able to reach #8 from below while lying on the driveway. I didn't find 8 all that bad, I just couldn't see what I was doing. I thought #2 was BY FAR the biggest pita of any of them to reach. Good luck!

with the alternator off you SHOULD be able to reach it. I have my stock manifolds on my camaro and was still able to get the plugs off.

yea i jacked my car up, took the alternator, y-pipe and starter off and had clearence to get them off. You may have to get a little creative with socket extensions and buy yourself a swivel extension, it comes in handy quite alot on these cars

Did my plugs with stock manifold and it was a bit of a PITA, but not a big one. You should only need to remove the alenator and thats it. Have fun and go at it.
