I just did mine this weekend and that writeup would have been helpful since I pretty much just went at it myself, but it wasn't too hard if you know what your doing...

First, find a car that has struts. Our cars have shocks.
Taking the shock-spring assembly out of the car is pretty easy, but getting the spring off and be a problem as the nut on top of the shock can be get very rusty and hard to get off. Take it to a shop that will compress the spring and swap the shock out for you.

The rears are easy, the fronts are a bit of a pain.
The howto writeup is very helpful.
You can generally bribe a local board member with beer to help
(to be consumed after the work is complete)
