After vortec elbow install, what to do w/ this?

Default After vortec elbow install, what to do w/ this?



It plugged into the rubber stock elbow, now what do I do with it?

you could drill a small hole in your moroso intake and install a gromet, or just leave it its not a vaccum leak, just tuck it somewhere where dirt is unlikely to get in

That's the vent line for your optispark. Drill into the elbow and find a grommet that will hold it in there.

Id say put a small hole in one of the rubber couplings but i think it would nd up tearing. drill it like said above.

mine came with a grommet... but i had a 94 formula, so i didnt have a vented opti

like everyone else said, just drill a hole for it

Do not just leave it open. Either put it back into the intake path where it belongs, or put a one way valve on it (available at the hardware store).

i agree with this. i just poked a tiny hole in one of the rubber pieces and pushed it in there. fits nice and snug

Does it matter if I drill into the elbow or drill into the cai? Does it have to be one or the other?
