Default dual exhaust

a mechanic friend said i would be better off going with dual exhaust then putting LT headers on, he said i would gain more horsepower with less work. is that true?

....i dont think so, if you do long tubes then you will need the bigger y-pipe, then you are dumb not to have a cat back allready....so i think he is just wanting to do less work. LT=duals...now your talkin.

its really better to put headers on then do true duals since it would be a tad different w/ stock manifolds

sorry, i think you missunderstood me! he said that putting dual exhaust on my car would give me more bang for the buck instead of putting headers on. there would be less work and i would only gain a little bit with the headers. so i was better off going with just dual exhaust with no headers. sorry about the missunderstanding.
