im asking for a friend and for my own knowledge at that. what are the exact differences between a 93 and 94 TB, and how would you be able to make the 94 TB work on the 93?

You nforgot a couple of things. PM rods started to come in 95's, 95 also have pulse mod on the torque converter. 95 also had the OBDII style connector but OBDI computer.

Once again, speeddensity.org specializes on the 93 and things like you are asking. I read through the sticky and the difference between the throttle bodies was described. The 93 uses the 4L60 instead of the 4L60E and is one reason there is a difference. Just making a suggestion to take a look. If a 93 was in my possession, I would be a regular there.
