Default What next?

I am going to be buying a 160 t-stat and an aluminum intake elbow this week. What would you guys recommend next, mods in sig? I was thinking either 3.73s or changing the the exhaust to the TSP rumbler with a powerstick, or just buying a powerstick and dumping it...Anyone around here running a single dump? The 2OTL exhaust sounds good, but its just not loud enough for my taste...Also, is the almuminum intake elbow worth it, or am i better off with the 1LE elbow?

Ditch the system to save weight, under drive, air foil and 1.6 rockers with springs.(system is useless weight.)

i know the system kills weight, but it came with the car, and it sounds good...i love the bass it produces, and saves me the effort of putting weight in the trunk in the winter...with the system and me in it, the car weighs about 3700lbs...I could ditch it and put that thunderform box in the side wall i guess

i dont think i could part with my stereo either. when i had the mods you have, my next mod was a hurst comp plus short shifter with a short stick. that is still one of my most favorite mods. something you will enjoy every shift. although i cant tell if you are m6 or a4. gears are also a good mod for what you currently have. also, an adjustable torque arm and lower control arms are inexpensive but produce good results.

sorry, i am an A4...right now i can chirp the tires, which I am pretty sure is due to the weight of the system...I think with some 3.73s I could burn em up. I am positive I only have 2.73s because my shifter only goes down to 2, and at 70 mph i am only turning 1600 rpms...

i was thinking about 3.73s and then asking for a stall for christmas...no winter beater for me, this is my only car, and it will be with me through thick and thin as I finish up school...i drove my B4C all winter when I had it...never had any problems, of coure I wouldn't drive if it was a whiteout, lol...next on the list is to save for a set of blizzaks or some other sort of winter tire...i have time for those, it doesn't start snowing here until late november...

Well, i kina do the air foil+under drive=a little gain. At the price you get both you can a bit and the dollar per HP gain is not too far off, every little bit counts, i will not suggest an air foil without under drive and that other way around.

i dont understand, does one benifit the other? either way, you are gonna pay 50+ dollars for 1 or 2 hp (air foil)

if i go with a stall, what would be the best speed...the car will eventually be cammed with a 383 stroker, pending funds...i was thinking 3200 or 3600?

would 2.73s work ok with a stall...from what i keep reading, i'll have to keep buying gears because they'll eat the differential over time...should i just buy a stall and then wait for the gears when i save for a 12 bolt or 9 inch? or is it worth it to do the 3.73s now, my car isn't making that much power over stock, i just want it quicker off the line...
