Poly mounts on a daily driver
Poly mounts on a daily driver Good idea or bad idea? I got the mounts because my y-pipe is slapping the floorboard of the car. But I've read a few threads saying that the vibrations are very intrusive. So, go for it or just deal with a y-pipe that slaps the floorboard at WOT?

You won't be able to tell the difference. What you will notice, is after like 50K miles and they're still good as almost new! Get the energy suspension tranny mount while you're at it. Are you sure it's the Y Pipe and not the tranny hitting the tunnel? Energy's poly has interlocking metal, that after so much flex, it catches. So it essentially makes it so the mount only goes bad due to deterioration (age), instead of constant use.

Poly up EVERYTHING you can and thank me later! It really turned my car into a go-cart. Oh, I guess the 3 point bolt-in sub frame connectors, strut tower brace, air bags, and LCA relocation brackets helped alot too!

Yea, the poly bushings are really nice. I had a full kit for my 91, but only got about 40% of the rear done. So I have all the front end stuff left and the LCA bushings left (since my Lakewoods came with poly ones). So I'll be making the 91 poly's fit on my 93 
Most should be the same, or useable. Only ones I see a problem with are the sway bar frame mounts since the MM Diameter might be bigger/smaller between the two. I think my 91 had 33mm or 35mm up front, not sure what 93+ has for FE2.

yea anotehr thing to check to be sure its motor mounts....torque arm bushing....i ripped mine clear off the transmission, had to buy everything bolts bracket and bushing.
Also the tranny mount is almost a must. Ive torn 2 rubbers in less than 8 months. I bought one and it comes with a small warrenty...so i figured ill run it till warrenty dies, then get a poly one like what was on my 3rd gen. In the 3rd gen there was no new vibrations

Well I am going to be in the minority here.
I tried the poly motor mounts and I did not like the vibrations at all. I took them out and put the new rubber ones on and things are a lot better. I am overly super sensitive I reckon.
