Jesus not to be a dick or anything but your welds look worse than pacesetters.

I get my hader flanges from B&G Fabrications and vband stuff thru them too. I am not sure about the D shaped pipes you are talking about. Which picture?

My94TransAm - Thanks.

NemeSS - Yeah, when its hot... I wouldnt want to reach down there. Whe its cool though, it provides some of the best plug access out there better than most headers). The A/C is staying.

I have a lot of extra pipe laying around now and was thinking of building a couple systems similar to this to sell (need money)... Everything about the location of turbo and what not is perfect for a bolt on style kit (no major modifications).

You retain the a/c, retain pass factory manifold, and have a log manifold on the drivers side with a similar design to yours. Its good for as much power as anyone should need and super clean.

LOOKS GOOD!

ive owned a turbo lt1 car, and know how hard it is to change plugs at the track, pretty sure my exhaust was glowing cherry red after a hard run.
one time i charred a opti wire, #7 after a hard run day the track,
sucked for me, although i did go lo 11's
good luck

What I was looking at is the tubes that you weld to the flange. I think pacesetter just sort of press' the D in and then welds it to the flange. Yours look more oval though.

Oh I see.... yeah these flanges have oval cutouts (bigger than the D port on the heads). I just bought regular round tubing and ovaled it before sticking them in and welding.

Everything. ****, i think it should all be changed even with a bolt-on car if you plan on racing it at all.

You need more seat pressure with boost, so spring upgrades are a must.

anytime you add a lot of cylinder pressure (turbo, blower, or even nitrous) it is good to have a strong valvetrain especially on the exhaust side. this is due to the much increased cylinder pressure when the exhaust valve is trying to open. you can break and bend things like the pushrod, rocker, valve. running a smaller exhaust valve helps this due to less square inches on the valve.
