guys, they used the gen I motors all the way up through the 2000 model year in the OLD BODYSTYLE trucks. take the 3500, for instance. it didnt get the new bodystyle until 2001, and then it also got the LSx based engine.
you could still get old bodystyle tahoes, 2500's, etc. up through 2000 as well.
