Lamest question of the month: Corvette Servo

So, my tranny shifts pretty well for 96K. Leaving me with one of two things: Sometime during it's life, it's been rebuilt, or it has a Corvette servo (CS). Now, say I was going to get a CS, w/o pulling out most of the parts already, how would I know with in a few moments, that I already do or do NOT have a CS?

Like I said, really stupid question lol (Not that my other thread is much better)

take it apart and judge by the size of the apply piston

The Corvette servo was standard in the LT1 powered cars, hell Grandma's Roadmaster got it.

We didn't get them. Well I know mine didn't have one until it was rebuilt.

Hate to bring this back up but after some research I found out only trannys had a vette servo was a 4l65e not none of the 4l60e's.

Too bad the Vette Servo being used behind all the LT1s was common knowledge even BEFORE the 4L65e was released.

Sorry bro don't know about a lt1 but research i've check stated the 4l65e which was 01 02 camaro ss slp ,Gto 05-06 but trans am didn't.

Dwayne is asking WHERE you learned that the LT1-based 4L60Es didn't have the Corvette servo.

ok reasearch completed again 93- 96 lt1 CORVETTE AND CAMARO had vette servo.

The Vette and f-body crowd gets a little hurt and doesn't like to believe the Grandpa cars got a lot of the same "special" parts.

The LT1 b-bodies got the Vette servo and so did the L99 9C1(cop cars).

I know it takes away from the specialness of YOUR car getting the Vette servo but get over it.
