Default Temp Gauage question

I searched but didn't find my answer so quickly I want to know why my temp gauge in my 93 z28 isn't working and if this is a common problem and how can I fix it is it a fuse?
Should I just go get an auto meter or something

O yea and every other gauge works except for temp gauge.

Well it sounds like there is a problem with the sensor on the driver side head between the 1 & 3 exhaust ports. That's a 1 wire sensor and it's very small in gauge so it's possible it broke. Check there and report back.

C'mon man, did you just stick your nose in there for a couple seconds? Take the plug loose and take the tubing off and trace it down. Take a voltmeter and see if you are getting any voltage at the wire. This is basic stuff dude. If you are getting voltage and no gauge cluster reading, then buy a new sensor and screw it in the head.

sad but true thats what i did looked and seen wire all together looked good. but whatever i will look again gonna have to buy a volt thing

When I found mine broken, it was not immediately visible cuz I had to take the tubing off.
