lt1edit or dynotune?
It depends if you can learn to properly use a wideband O2 to tune your car. There is a large learning curve associated with tuning your own ****. If you get it dynotuned, it should be a pretty damn good tune, and cheaper that way if you never plan on doing anymore mods.
Depends on who does the dyno tune, some tuners know what actually works on the track and others shoot for max on dyno numbers, not the same thing. A good tuner can use the dyno to his advantage, but understands the rollers are not the end goal.

Exp of the user is a key ingrediant here which seems to me you do not have, and unless you pay someone to do ti for your, your not really saving. In my case I bought Tuner CATS which btw is really cheap compared to EDIT and I paid the normal per hour of dyno time, you need a dyno (with apprioriate sensors such as FP, and A/F) to verify results
