Default lt1 head chamber

Whats the max that stock lt1 heads can be milled out to? I mean like the head volume. I was planning to run nitrous on my car but have since change my mind to procharge the car.
I have AI's 190cc heads. An the chambers now are 52.5 avg. Combined that with -16cc diomond pistons an a 383 an I got 10.8 to 1 compression.
I dont know weather to get get new pistons or mill the heads some?
Can I run alot of boost with that kind of compression? With a FMI an maybe meth? This will be a weekend an track car not daily driven, so i could run race gas. Would it be safe with race gas?
Sorry for all the ???
Later Ryan H.

Milling the heads would increase the compression so I don't know why you would want to do that.

what he said. For boost you want lower compression not higher.

Call any reputable performance machine shop...they can talk through it with you...my suggestion.

You might consider selling the heads and picking up some Trick Flows. Or as you said, get some pistons. However, not real sure how big a dish you can get off the shelf without going custom.

-16cc were the biggest i saw when checking out pistons. wasnt looking for a deep dish so there might be others. fwiw, i went with ross custom pistons to get the cr right where i wanted it and pistons/rings shipped was just over a grand.
