Its not that simple. sometimes you cant get the kind of lift out of a cam lobe without increasing the duration with the provided cam lobes that cam be ground by the major cam companies. usually as the lift increases so does the duration. so to get the lift needed on one side you would therefore have to have a huge duration on one side. lets see how that cam works.

From looking at my flow #'s, I SHOULD gain power, by running 1.7rr on the intake side and staying with the 1.6's on the exhaust..(intake #'s increase with lift, exhaust levels out)..Or is this NOT the way to go about it?

Just do R&D on it. Maybe at the track or on a dyno, if you can. I've seen good numbers made both ways, but it all depends on the setup and combination of parts.
