For the lazy people out there that dont want to check the links to other threads, here is his setup:

355 9.5:1 compression
stock crank
eagle rods
wiseco pistons
splayed mains
all arp hardware
1074 head gaskets
STOCK intake
STOCK TB
STOCK cam
1.6 rr's
lt4 valve springs

Th400 with a coan 4000 nitrous converter(tight)
Hybrid 8.8 3.55 gears 33 spline axles spool
26x11.50x15 et streets(going back to my 325/50/15 mt dr's soon)

Turbonetics ball bearing T-76 with a .81 ar
30x12x3 FMIC
3" charge pipe
silicone cuplers w/ all tbolt clamps
3" downpipe connected to a 3" cutout to a stock catback
44mm tial WG
RFL bov
Prosport boost guage
Joe P MBC
lc1 wideband w/ XD-1 guage

42lb injectors(60's will go in as soon as I need them)
255 intake pump with a kenne bell boost a pump
obdI conversion tuned by me w/ tunercats(hopefully will soon be going megasquirt)
No p/s, no hvac, no abs, no front bumper support, no sway bar
Engine bay completely wire tucked
hal shocks, bmr tq arm, bmr lca's/panhard rod

More info on the 8.8 conversion. Did you chop the ten bolt axle tubes and weld them onto an 8.8 center section?

Yea i bet the quick spool has something to do with the .81 a/r more than anything.

What rpm is it actually making boost?

I haven't went out into boost on mine yet... But my turbo is louder than hell before it even is thinking of boost. My 5 foot of downpipe probly has something to do with it i suppose.

Sounds sick man.... got to love to be one of the few with a turbo on our lt1's

i've been thinkin' about swapping over to a Turbo, but Id have to change some major parts for me to even benefit from it..heh

And just noticed you were going megasquirt... same here..

I think I may just piggyback it to the stock pcm for now to keep it simple. Have stock PCM running everything in the car minus injectors... But you have to modify MS to share a sensor with another pcm and it sounds like a pain in the ***. I have been reading into it and will do it when snow falls.

I think the log setup helps too. He had I think a t67 sts type setup before and he said the T76 and this setup spools alot faster.

Front mount for the win!

I have been waiting for your results for awhile bro. Get some video of your setup. Your is going to scream.

I had a non ball bearing MP t70 rear mount before, 8.8:1 compression with heads/cam, 2700ish stall, and it took A LOT longer to spool than this setup does.

With the 4000 stall, it flashes and builds boost instantly. I haven't checked on rpm yet, too busy watching the boost guage/wideband.

I'm thinking of using megasquirt just to control the fuel side also!!!

ahhh..... i bet with a 4k stall!!! holy hell. I would be a full boost by then too!!!

That will be a fun ride... 0 lag with that kinda stall... I bet it will foot brake so high with boost on that stall...

Oh.. and let me know how tuning the CATs goes... still planning on running MAF? Im interested to see how dialed in you can get the a/f... whats it look like now? Any kinda boost regulated FMU? or stock?

Yeah... well with the upped compression from the 8.5/1 to 9.5/1 and a front mount from rear... i'll bet its a new animal!

Thanks man... I been waiting for awhile. It took my girl leaving me to get up and put it together.. injectors are here tomarro... tuning is last thing on the list...

Got a new girl and car is coming together... along with a new job.. So everything is working out much better for me right now.

I will post videos as soon as i figure out what to take them with =/
