I am taking it all out but i was jus wondering if i only need the 2 block off plates for the back of the manifold since the headers have no opening for them or is there other things i have to block off??

I just installed Hooker SuperComps headers in my car. I took off the emissions stuff as well. I made a block off plate using the fitting from the metal EGR tube that screws into the back of the intake. I JB Welded a washer around the hole, and put a roofing tack on the outside of the washer. It's going nowhere.
The AIR "pump" just works by vacuum. I left the pump on there for now and when I yank the motor I'll remove it completely.
My car is throwing a code and runs all strange. It definitely needs a tune so I advise you do that. Also, you'll need o2 extension cables. Get them from Speed, Inc. Unless you just want to use the cables Pacesetter includes with the headers.
Good luck.

Nothing is easy with the LT1. You should be able to do it with the intake on. It'll probably frustrate you a little, and it definitely falls into that, "if there was hair around it you'd find it!" as far as putting the bolts in goes. It's not hard, just make sure it's 100% hard and doesn't leak when you tighten it back up.
Short answer: You can leave the intake attached to install the block off plate(s).

It's not all that bad, but it is a pain in the *** to see what you're doing. I had to tighten the AIR tube and I was getting frustrated heh I used a small mirror I had to see wtf I was doing, and if I was on the nut, or near it.

Yea. I hate the wires that the O2 sensors use. They are chrome coated and don't solder. [corrision resistance] Better to just get the sensor extensions. Much better way of doing this even if you use a crimp connector. Chrome is hard to get a bite on. Copper is nice and soft. I laughed when I saw the Pacesetter Instructions and the piece of wire they gave. Good price though.
