I'm looking for pics of lt1 firebirds painted in Orange
Like the title says, since going to school falling acorns have trashed my hood, no big deal i was gonna paint the car this spring anyways. Now i'm thinking about using a factory Gm orange like sunburst orange metallic, brazen orange metallic, or hugger orange. I'm looking for pics of lt1s in these colors or similar ones. And if anyone knows prices for these paints (enough to spray a whole car) i'd love to know. In addition anyone with pictures of the filler panel painted (the one between the tailights) i'd like to see them as well (doesn't matter what color)
thanks guys

i think hugger on the entire car would be overboard, my car is very very flashy, almost too flashy (every state trooper knows my car) My next move is to go to some sort of metallic. And yes, if you have it done right then it will be around $10K, but i did most of the prep myself so it helped a lot, i had the whole car repainted not just the orange and silver

I would leave the hugger orange to the Camaros, its like a namesake to that car. I think the sunset orange metalic would look good, but like zlover said alot of money and alot more attention from the wrong crowd..cops.

Bright Tangerine Orange. PPG paint, clear, hardner, reducer, sealer ect.... Spent around 700 bucks. Not including time, sandpaper, beer, sandpaper, beer and more beer I spent doing the body work.
Redoing again and plan on going Tangelo "Pearl Orange" with some kind of "Dick Harrell" strip on the side in gunmetal... Should look pretty sweet!
