Looking For Stuff To Do To My Car Today...

Would a MSD Blaster Coil Be Good To Put In My Car? I Replaced Mine Last Year With A Crappy One From AutoZone

I Also Wanted To Do A Water Fluch Becuase Its Like Nasty Brown Do I Need To Use The Green Stuff Or Orange ?

I Have A SLP LM 2 On My Car With A High Flow Cat Is There Any other Muffler Or Anything I Can Do To Tone Down The Rasp Without Losing Performance?

I Havent Change My Spark Plugs Ever Since Ive Had The Car They prob. Have About 40K Miles On Them Whens A Good Time To Change Those?

Thanks Guys!! =]

Doubt a MSD blaster coil is worth the effort, unless you're really bored.

Nasty brown? No oil in there right??? Not sure if your car uses the green or orange,i would GUESS green. And its not water, its coolant

Stay with the LM2.

If you're not FI or spraying and the car has no knock, they should be fine well past 40k.

Not sure on the 94, my 97 uses the orange antifreeze.
Also, change the plugs, for certain.

The nasty brown is because at some point in the coolant's life -- someone mixed Orange Dex-cool with Green normal anti-freeze. When they mix it basically defeats the purpose of the advantages of the dex-cool. I would get a flush asap, and just use dex-cool (orange).

Regarding the plugs, it probably wouldn't hurt to change them. You can find NGK TR55s at any local DAP. Use a little bit of dielectric grease in the spark plug boots when you put them back on. It will help with conductivity and keeping moisture out.

Put whatever is in there now. You can easily tell when you drain it. If you have green stay with that, if its dexcool, go with that. You don't want to mix them.

you can put whatever coolant you want in there...id reccomend what you have in it now...actually most say dex is better, its just more expensive...but you can mix them ect...wont cause problems...big discussion on cz28 about it...its simply people dont flush their systems on time so it sludges up

Well if the car came with regular anti-freeze, do you have to do anything besides a flush to switch over to Dex-cool? Also, what are the benefits of using the "orange stuff"??

You want to work on your car, but you dont want to change your plugs?

Changing a coil is harder then changing plugs.

Have fun.

Huh? I can change a coil in no time, but it takes me 6 1/2 hours or so to do plugs and wires?? Or are you just screwing with this guy?
BTW the hell with BBK shorties. I can't wait to put in the longtubes, maybe it won't be a whole day process to get some new plugs in.

Do the plugs yourself, figure your average shop is $40-60 a hour. They don't have superhuman speed over you or anything, so figure on quite a few hours. That time of 6 1/2hr. I stated is the 4th plug change I've done with my current setup, even with the way short slp socket and working around shorties, it completely sucks.
I guess if you have a couple hundred you want to throw at a guy to put your plugs in instead of buying more mods, then go for it. If your in FL I'll come put your plugs in for $200.
