Default Hazard relay position LT1

Maybe you guys can help me ? I have been looking for the location of the Hazard relay under the dash and I can't find this d*mn thing. The blinker relay is in plain sight, but the hazard relay escapes me I have a 1996 WS6 T/A and would really appreciate anyone pointing out the location of the hazard relay under the dash. If you have a link to a pic or tech document showing it's exact location that would be even better

Thanks for any help

I thought I helped you with this before? lol. As I said before, it's to the left of the steering column if you are looking at the floorboard from outside the car. I had to get on my back and way down in there to look up and find it hiding behind some black painted metal. I only saw the silver glint with my flashlight and then had to fish for it blind with my hands. Hopefully others will chime in and offer some better pics or advice. Took me way too many tries to find this so I feel your pain.

Brian, your directions are good. It's the end user who is the problem I have tried about 2 or 3 times to find this d*mn thing and I thought someone might have a clear picture of exactly where this item is hiding. It's driving me nutz !!! I'mw wondering if the Hazard relay is in a different position on a 96 vs. 97 ? I tried for a good 20 minutes this weekend and could not find it at all. I'm sure it's right in front of me, but I can't see it

Seen that picture tons of times. It is not in that exact location nor as easy to access as that pic shows. The turn signal flasher was in the location shown above though.

Strange, I replaced the one marked HAZARD, but that is my turn signals. The HAZARDS won't do anything when you pull the column switch. I don't think I have ever messed with the turn signal (RED item to the right of pic) relay. Maybe when I replaced the silver cylinder with the EL-12 it somehow affected the turn signals. My turn signals have worked perfectly after I replaced the silver canister item marked HAZARDS in the picture, but the HAZARDS have not worked at all. I'm confused doh.....

The hazards do not work at all? Do the turn signals still work? Don't you love electronics?

Sorry to sound a bit like I was giving ya crap. The pic you have shown was good info but you could tell that I was pretty annoyed trying to find the damn hazard flasher. Anyways, thanks for the attempt.

My hazards just stay solid when I pull the **** on the left side of the steering wheel. The turn signals actually work perfect, so the only problem I have is finding the hazard relay so I can make the hazards flash like the turn signals. Yes, I love electronics Brian !
