Thumbs up She's Started Complete custom. Pics! Video!

Well the day is almost here, this is my dad's project he's been working on and off for the last 3 years or so, a 95 Z28. Everything you see was done by him, the roll cage was measured, bent, cut, welded, and painted by him. He made the throttle body at the shop on his lathe from a piece of aluminum (seen in pics). It's a 408ci SBC he will be running a 4l80e. He built from scratch a 4-link suspension for it (pics), and tubbed it. Oh and it still has A/C (thats my oldman) lol. I'll be adding pics to this as i get them.

11/18/07:
Well Friday morning (3am), we butsed her off. It took about 4 starts to get everything right but he got r done! First few starts it was only running on 4 cyclinders, injectors werent firing, had some wiring mixed up. Fixed that and this first clip is its first run on all 8. The water pump wasnt working, 2nd clip water pump fixed everything good, he goes through the gears in the garage.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TmmIhlTqK5I
-------

You can kind of see the box he built where the 4-link stick through, its carpeted over.

The arm rests on the doors go right over the cage bars, so when your in the car you don't een notice the cage. And it's easy to get in and out of.
He carpeted the door bars... You can see the box he built around the 4 link (carpeted over).

What the throttlebody was and the very start of it (before the blade and everything else, measures 92mm).

seeing what its gonna look like. (tb still not done here)

looks like the only weak link is the 10 bolt. nasty setup. those exhuast ports on the heads speak for themselves. is it a solid roller setup?

Awesome car! I love people who can fab **** of out bare metal. That 10-bolt is doomed though, lol. I can't imagine that motor being "mild" with a set of shaft rockers on it. I think the rule book says that the door bars must come between your elbow and shoulder in the seated position, they look a little low. 4-link set up is SWEEEEEEET, bye bye torque arm.

First off, I guess I forgot to mention this is primarily going to be a street driven car, taken to the track only every once in awhile. Second, that isn't a 10 bolt. (look at 9th pic real close)
Oh and no its not solid, hyd roller. And I'll get pic of the whole car when its done, It still doesn't have wheels or tires.

Wow man looks great! You're dad does some excellent work.

What is that an 8.5" rearend? What gears and diferential are you running in it? I used to have a B body 8.5" and I measured it and it was almost the same length as an F body rearend. I was going to use it until I basicaly got a 9 inch for free.

It looks like you're running just the optical part of the opti to trigger the coil packs right?

Is that a timing belt?

And is the 4l80E stock inside? What stall?
