'95 B-body LT-1 in a '94 F-body
I was wondering if there is any diffrance in the crank pully bolt or the spacer to the crank pully bolt, I know that the accessories bracket and crank pully is not the same, so is the crank bolt / bolt spacer differ ? The local dealer says that all LT-1's have the same crank bolt and spacer, but I have reason to think other wise.

it is the part of the hub that bolts to the crank has a diffrent spacing for the diffrent bodies, one space for "Y" and "F" bodies and another for the "B" bodies. I made shure to use the crank pully from my old motor but now I am wondering "WTF" is going on.

From my experience. the only one that is different is the LT4 hub. All B & F LT1 are the same. If your hub is off by 3/8" then something is wrong.
The difference between the LT1 - LT4 hubs are very noticable, the snouts are different diameters.
Don't quote me on this but I have a F-body hub on my 94 Impala SS and there's no issues.

ok b/c i am building a lt1 out of a roadmaster and was just going to use the hub, not knowing it was different.
So Sapper you think the roadmaster and f-body hubs are the same? or atleast will work w/o problem?

B-body Hubs Are Longer. If You Go To Buy A New Keyed One There Are 3 Different Lengths For Lt1's. When I Bought My Impala Ss It Had A F-body Hub On It And The Belt Was Overhanging The Balancer.

all I know is that the "so called" B body motor that I bought I had to change the water pump and crank pully to get it to work in my F body. I had two buddys that were there when I realized it and they agreed that the pully is not the same.
