There have been some issues with the tracks equipment getting stolen so "locked inside the gates" isn't any better than outside in the parking lot in my opinion. I still think setting up our own security is the best but if not then I will just take my junk home and put it in the garage where I know its safe.

Any security force is not going to take responsibility if anything happens to your equipment anyway.

Lets be honest, Kansas City is not East St Louis and the possiblilty of anything happening is remote but its always better to be safe than sorry.

UPDATE

I just got off the phone with the track again. Camping will be allowed within the premises. There will not be security so you guys will have to watch your stuff and your neighbors stuff.

Ya man this is gonna be sweet. I could bring the portable george foreman and grill out all weekend! I'm stoked I just hope I'm not the only one camping

I'll have to talk it over with the wife but I may be up for the camping too. I know at the local track here you can camp out at the weekend events and they have showers in the rest rooms too.
