They just put them in on the spectator side (opposite the pits) in the bathrooms over there. I've never been in that bathroom, so I didn't know!

Where is everyone staying? What hotel did you guys reserve? I need to get on the ball and reserve me a room or two just in case I do not camp at the track.

Only post up what hotel and why you chose that hotel.

 

 

I haven't made any reservatios yet but plan to soon. I don't think the wife wants to camp out at the track. I'm just worried about the car on open trailer.

 

No reservations here either. I will be there to watch at the very least, but unsure if my car will be ready or not. I may be staying with some family in the area (Overland Park) if I come just as a spectator. My wife is being weird about parking a big *** trailer at her aunt's house if we bring the car . Sorta pisses me off, cause I would feel better about parking the car at her aunt's house.

Camping sound like fun Taner I will let Tim know we are taking the big tent and the tow vehicle. I mean one of us has to use it and I am sure if Brian comes he will appreciate not having to walk all the time.

So, whats the closest hotel to the track? The one mentioned in Overland Park? What kind of quality is it?

 

My wife veto'ed the camping, so I will be getting a room somewhere for Fri. and Sat. night. I will diffently hit the Fri. test/tune (1st time for me on a 1/4 mile track).

 

I plan on the Fri. night t&t also. I guess I will start checking into getting a room this week.

I'm staying at the Best Western Truman Inn, mapquest says it's 5.5 miles from the track.

I will be staying here along with others. I know N20Dave will be staying here as well ......he gave me the info. This is only a few miles from the track with well lighted parking.....etc. Is around $58 per night.
