Well it had too happen eventually I got the 93ta known a white trash sprayed with the factory paint coat last week a a local painters, I shelled out 309 of my buck and was amazed. the car used too look like thisvvvvvvvv

Its not perfect mined you but its way better than I was expecting for the 300 beans thrown down, The car still has a few minor paint defects, 1 run in the wing, the paints two weeks old now and I need too adjust the fenders once more(shrink). there is overspray.
but all and all I was astounded, seeing how I was only going for a 50/50 car. I say it turned out better than that, But it gat alot better next friday nite.

With the paint barly dry I decided too go too morosos test and tune, With a 180k on the clock rock hard bald(I was warned by tech)tires, and no intentions of breaking out of the 14s, old white trash klicked off a best of

I should point a few things out this was my BEST run But my worst 60' figure that one out, this was only made after taking out the spare tire, taking a leak, and removing all trash for the car. I dont belive the car is stock, Im gonna climb under it and do a gear count this weekend, there are no free mods done at this point and the only thing I know is now stock is the k&n filter that was in the car when I bought it. (sue me) If anyone want too see the car run im doing a few of the free mods this week and taking it back to the track on friday.

Im still way under my budget, and Im not ashamed too be seen in the car. I do have a couple of questions though Is this fast enough too be a freak or just a wednesday car. Ive bested a few stock LS1 car on the street with it allready. Let me know what you guys think.

 

i'd say if it doesn't have headers and still is full weight then yes i would call it a freak for sure

thats a good time no doubt but not a freak, i had a few lt1's, my second to last was a 96 ta a4, stock 3.23 gears and a bald set of BFG drags and clicked off a 13.5 also with 176,000 on the clock(i had the K&N filter too..lol) but my others were high 13's . Great starting point though and what a cheap project so far too.

Why dont you just use the gear calculator and your cruise roms/speed to figure out gearing, probably be easier

Some people HAVE run 13.5 on stock cars. There are a few freaks in the F-Body bunch. I think they were Wednesday cars LOL People assembling 1/2 way through the week and making sure everything is done perfect. Because it's not Monday, and it's not Friday.

 

well im gonna change the plugs, wires, fuel filter. do all the free mods. cut out the cat, remove the front sway bar, remove the front bumper, crash supports, rear seat belts and start too plan on where too stash the nitrous!

 

What's wrong with the spare tire bay?
