Don't mean to hijack, but projekt70chevelle what springs did use with those roller rockers you linked to? My motor is completely stock w/ just over 90k miles on it and I want to upgrade to those RR's and good springs, then eventually a mild cam when I have the money.

mhayes2344 check out this thread that recently started. Includes the springs i used plus some other suggestions. When choosing the springs before the cam you need to be careful, you may get decent springs but if you decide down the road to go with a large cam then youll be replacing them again. Heres the link, just read through... its in there.

All roller rockers "tick", it took me awhile to get used to it. NSA rockers are supposed to be quieter. I going to be switching to nsa pretty soon for that reason and more realiabilty.

work well with these RR's

Like I said right now the motor is stock but I plan to go with the cc503 cam within the next few months.

Yes, thats pretty much always the case, because there is more drivetrain loss through the automatic trans. So you can have the same amount of power at the flywheel but it will put less power to the ground.

i dont think this is entirely true. yea, the autos take more power away, but a certain amout, not a percentage. if it takes 40 hp to turn an auto, adding 8 hp with rr is not gonna make the tranny use up more hp. so the hp gains on an auto and m6 should be about the same, altho the same motor will put down less with the auto, inheirently
