MSD rotor and cap...worth it??

MSD rotor and cap...worth it?? Hey guys i just have a simple question and i wanted your opinions on it. The MSD Cap and rotor kits for our cars...are they worth it or no? What are the advantages ??

I have had a great experience with my Ac delco unit. I have had a bad experience with off brand Opti's. I have no experience with the Msd, I would just get the Ac delco one save yourself the money. And just make sure you install it right and there isn't oil or water leaking on it. Use the extra money for A good set of wires and heat shields
Well guy's if your talkin about the 92-94 non vented style I just checked an MSD cap & rotor kit it's pretty damn cool it converts it to a vented kit, it come with the hose and check valves, just by lookin at the kit I'd recomend it, I don't have my 94 anymore otherwise I'd try it out.

It is a cap and rotor, long as it is in good shape it will perform the same as any other in good shape. The aftermarket will try and convince you there is power in almost anything but it is BS.
On a 94 the MSD kit converting it to vented is reason enough to use it, I have about 15K on the one in my 96, all good sofar then again I have put many more miles than this on stock caps and rotors without issue too.
The "opti problems" are grossly overstated by the ignorant and incompetent you will find on most of these boards.

the best advantage of the msd is the rotor. no plastic rivets to break. and it adds an extra bolt at the top to pull it tighter to the opti. mine has been working fine to.
msd My water pump went out, and then i did the MSD distrubuter and a high flow water pump and wires. I think it is worth the money, the guy at the speed shop said he has never seen one come back, and you can adjust them up to +or- 5 degrees.
