Custom Exhaust Q's.....
. so there sent my ground clerance. so now i am doing true duals over the axle. i have almost all of my bends from stuff laying around the garage but to make things a little easier i would like to know if the stabilizer above the panhard bar was really necessary and the tunnel brace that is about a foot and a half south of the tranny crossmember was necessary. the tunnel brace could be modified to fit again but that is were my x pipe is going to be. when im done its almost going to be like the basanni true duals. but way cheaper
What you call a stablizer might be able to be replaced with a custom brace, but I would avoid losing it entirely; a much stronger aftermarket panhard bar might change that answer, but you'd better bounce the idea off a chassis guy first. The bolted on tunnel brace can be left off with no issues.
