I have Jet Hots and they are very nice headers. I haven't had any problems at all in 3+ years.

my first pacesetters were warped on the flanges and leaked terribly, not to mention they send you cardboard gaskets and expect them to hold up. and second the customer service was nothing to brag about either, took them 3 times to get me headers that worked. and on top of that i had to beat the primary to make room for the damn steering knuckle. i can't comment as far as the install bc my jet hots went in bolted to the motor on the cradle. i would highly recommend anything besides pacesetter.

Jet Hot also coats both the inside and outside of the header, unlike Pacesetter which only coats the outside.

If you want, you can buy black painted Pacesetter LT's right from Jet Hot and have them coat them with thier sterling coating, then the Pacesetter Y-pipe would work.
my pacesetters are coated on the inside also, not to mention the flanges come thicker than jet hot's which is a plus to prevent warping. My pacesetters were very straight on the flanges for those wondering. I am sure both of these sets are great headers for the $. I will splurge on stainless set later.

JetHot headers are a Hooker design,JetHot made the flange thicker and ofcourse added their coating. I think they also use the same part #2231 as Hookers.
I've had them now for almost three years and no issues. The installation was a breeze for me, may be ten to fifteen minutes each side.I did mine when I was doing heads and cam.

I have had both, ceramic coated.

Pacesetters are nice, they have revised the design over the last few years. I have the latest design on my car right now. Super easy install, thick flanges, no leaks, easy plug access, nice finish. And for those of you who don't know, Pacesetter uses Jet hot coating on their headers, they just have to call it something different. I could not be happier with my Pacesetters.

Jet Hots are garbage. Unbelievably hard install, they fit like ****, and the plug access is not as good as the Pacesetters. Yeah, the one primary comes apart and also leaks where that joint is. I had the engine out of the car, on the Kmember, and it still was a major PITA to remove them from the motor. It easier to R/R the Pacesetters with the motor in th car than it is to R/R the Jet Hots with the motor out of the car.

Sorry, I couldn't resist!

How was it hard to remove them when you had the motor out of the car? I can change plugs in about 30 minutes. All of the plugs go in from the top except #8 and drop down the alternator for it. And I have big hands and arms...

The #1 primary on those Pacesetters would have given me more room for my ABS delete and linelock. My Jethots are rusting between the #3 and #5 primary tubes. I hate rust! I have a set of Pacesetters for LS1 waiting for the swap so maybe if I have time this winter....

Lets please get it right. Pacesetters ARE coated on the inside. DO have thick flanges. ARE a great bang for the buck. HAVE very good access to the plugs.
DO NOT have a slip tube that can leak.

And what does a different model vehicle and Pacesetters have to do with an F-body?
