pacesetter banging

okay i know that pacesetters have problems with banging under the drivers side and i saw a fix for it somewhere but i cant find it now, anyone know where i can buy the clamp that will stop the banging.

Or you could just weld a valve spring to the top of the pipe between the pipe and the body. Costs all of $0.50 worth of welding rod and a junk spring.

But hey, that $40 solution looks cool.

so is it necessarily guaranteed to knock or does it just happen with some applications? like, should that piece be ordered with the headers and y pipe ya think?

the bump stop thing from thunder doesnt work... well it didnt for me, it may for some.

I put poly's in and still had banging! I had VERY little clearance between the headers and the floorboard.

Some thick heater hose and a hose clamp and all is quiet
