Larry, I have a T/A with a solid roller lt1396 in it that went a best of 9.90 on motor and I was wondering if spraying nitrous in front of the IAT would be O.K. Also, I would like to compliment you on your clean install. That is one beautiful lt1 car.

Mihaljlo.. Thanks man, I have really worked hard on the car to get it where it is. The car will most likely be gone next week and not back at the shop until spring.

o i know you worked hard to get it to that point i know how the car was before not bad just not perfect like it is now
but yeah i have been so busy running the business but i am sure i ll see the car in the spring

i ll talk to you later

Larry,

How do you like the 3.90's? I'm considering them, are they too harsh on the street?

The placement of the nozzle is done relatively close to what NOS suggested & I ran it this way on my 96 way back with no issues. The 96 I had on the side of the elbow a bit closer to the MAF though.

maybe someone can give some other feed back ?

I had a 3.90/TH400/28" tire combo on my 96 car as well and seen no issue with street driving. I drove the car the the track over an hr each way on the hwy numerous times.

The car is getting all the misc bidy stuf fixed now. I was over there last night and they have it tore down. I will have pics up next week of the little changes.

WOW...you are still around on the forums

I just got the car back today from some paint and touch ups. I had the rear panel re-done like you had it too.

I am starting the K-member install tomorrow and the 6pt should be here in a couple weeks.

I'm ready otherwise and will be @ Byron hoping for some new ET's.

see ya soon bro

BTW : get me the pic in your avatar

thanks

it has been in the parking lot and on a flat bed

I keep taking it apart to clean or do things everytime I'm finished. I need to stop so it will just be done already.

We just did a 96 SS in a similar way based off my engine bay refresh. The customer should be posting some pics when he gets back in town.

wow.. lets start first with lots of labor.

I removed everything possible to get rid of the clutter.

relocated battery
no A/C, HEAT, ABS OR PS
relocated alternator
relocated fuel lines using AN line and rail adaptors
relocated ECU inside under dash
aftermarket coolant overflow
custom CAI
sanded and painted engine bay
Canton Valve cover with custom breather setup
clean and paint everything I possibly could

short list
