crawl'n

weather and track where not the best in KS for the shootout

best ET 10.7

best MPH 125

I said I would be more then happy with a .50 and I know it will do that with some tweaking on the suspension and Byron's bite.

figure I put an easy 150#'s in the car now with the cage, 12 bolt, drag sway bar and wheels/radial tires

car was not running 100% either and we found the MAF to be bad and I moved the IAT since I feel it was to close to the nozzle and causing it to run really rich at times on the jug

I plan to go to Byron this Saturday the 10th if you want to head out.

Default made it to the track

3180 #'s + me ! 195 = 3375 race weight

The 275/60 seem to be hit or miss and I can not get a good feel for them.

H/C and stock 90K + shortblock + 150 shot ( did not run on HP )

best 60ft 1.41
best ET 10.56
best MPH 126

101.89 mph in the 1/8 which makes me believe my converter maybe a bit inefficient on the big end

I am very happy with the car and the fact I drove it over an hour each way with no issues. I am sure it will go 40's with some little tweaking.

cruising @ 3500 RPM can make your ears ring after an hr !

Try being a printer for 35 years, that make your ears ring ALL the time. Nice short time, and I'm sure you will figure out what the car needs/wants.

thanks guys

I'm am happy even if it goes no faster. I really want to put a 4L60E back in the car, so most likely I will not play with the stall.

I wanted a 10.5 driver and it did it the first time out and there is still some left in the car with further testing.

lil update

a few weeks ago I ended up have Chuck & Vince @ FLT build me a Level 4 4L60E, ordered a Vig 3600+ and also got all the custom power steering stuff together

The car is now on the road with the above and really love the fact that it can be driven anywhere now.

I have a 4L60E and 3600 Vig from your old trans guy and i swear by that thing. Cruisin at 75 at 2750 is a beautiful thing with gas prices. And it holds up to 400 hp eliminating the other issues which is a definite plus.

Larry I'm sure I will be going back to the electronic junk someday myself. I'm getting tired of the Import guys blowing past me on the highway.
