LTX Extreme Street Ok now folks, what ET is it gonna take to compete in this class? Honestly!!! What is the number in everyones mind. Thinking about running the class but I gotta spend some $$$ to get the car ready. Who else is thinking of running it? Just dont want to get into the class just to get my doors blown off! 10.40s? Lower? Come on and bench race a bit.

I'm pre-registered for that class and I'm thinking it will take a 9 second pass to win. My car has not run that as of yet, but I just finished my motor this winter and have not yet got to put any nitrous to it.
Don't get to worried about being competitive, it will be a great time and you might just end up winning it. Just remember the quickest car does not always win.

Not worried about getting my but kicked. No matter how fast you are, there is always someone faster. Just interested in making a good showing. Running the fast bracket for sure. Still on the fence about this one.

Hopefully, I'll be running well for this class because that is what I pre-registered for. However, it's looking like I won't have my new combo together by the shootout because of financial problems. I was hoping for nines, but it probably won't happen.

I think it depends on who shows up...and someone WILL show up 
My car is legal for the class as best as I can tell. It sounds like a lot of fun, but I simply can't afford the haul. Even if I was lucky enough to win, $300 wouldn't make much of a financial dent is the $1000+ it would take to make the trip from Houston.
For what it is worth, my car has run run a handful of sub 9.50 passes here at sea level in Houston...not sure what effect the change in altitude would have.
Regardless, I think it would take better than that to win. The ET might fall off a bit through the field, but I still bet the top 5 guys are running 9's.

DA in Kansas City is not that good from what I hear. So most cars will probably be a little slower than on their home track (unless your home track has even worse DA). I figure 9.90-11.00 will make up the field. I will be running this class. Hoping for low 10s on a 200 shot. I am working on getting some nitrous bugs worked out right now. I will have to hit my local track as soon as they open (March) to get this thing dialed in.
