Well, technically ET and MPH are just numbers too. And just because you can outrun me, doesn't mean you can out dyno me.

Nitrous works plate kit. 67 N2O 38 FUEL. I Just noticed that these recommendations are at 40PSI fuel pressure. MY car runs at about 50PSI. May the extra fuel is keeping me from making the mot HP.

I agree it sounds like a convertor/tranny issue.
That settles the cam issue then. I really didnt what to change it any way because it runs so good NA.The car ran a 10.95 @ 122.48 in the 1/4 on Nitrous 150 shot. That is when it lifted the heads when I came through the traps my engine temp was 230 . And I had to park it.

All things being equal, how would this cam perform with lift numbers in the .570s?

Its very common for people to put 1.6 rockers on this cam.Which would bring lift #'s to in.545 ex.575.I havent heard that anyone has lost power. The ramp rates on that cam are fairly lazy so its a smart mod IMO.

What makes you say that....

My car dyno'd 422/447 w/a 222/228 .544/.538 112 T56 10 bolt w/4.10...swapped to an auto and moser 12 bolt w/3.73's, car ran 11.6's....swapped cams to the 246/254 and the car dropped to 11.3's but only dyno'd 390

My car is setup for the bottle...convertor, gear, tire, etc. So the NA times suffer a little

The part # is BMM-20413 It sells for 379.95 in summit. The car had 3.23 gears and a 26-10.50-15 et street's when it 60'd in the 1.40 range. That is also a converter for aTH350.

My last 383 SR stroker with a bigger cam than you have also put down 390 to wheel, and it ran like it had 390 to wheel...this is why I said your numbers are not good, it wasn't a personal attack.

It's being rebuilt at the moment. And part of the reason for rebuilding it was the pitiful dyno results that suggested there was something wrong; and there were many things wrong.

Dropping time doesn't mean a whole lot. The mile per hour is EVERYTHING, as it shows the potential "lowest" time; given an optimal set up is complementing it. Actual dyno numbers aside, mile per hour is the BEST real world indicator of how much power you're putting down.
