Default Parts are coming in, just in time for the Shootout

About time for an update, getting back to work after knee surgery helps out on the hot rod fund. I've been putting in 60-75hr weeks, till last week ,that one was 82 hrs. I'm on pace this week to get 95 hrs!!! That should help out the hot rod fund and pay for Christmas all in one check.

Well here are some pics of the new parts.

AFCO Shocks all the way around
AFCO Springs ( back ordered)
STRANGE Brakes front and rear
BMR Lower & upper A- arms ( haven't arrived off the UPS truck)
MADMAN Manual rack and pinion
MADMAN Torque Arm (Back ordered)
MADMAN "Save your *** bars"
MADMAN Travel Limiters
WOLFE Drag rear Sway Bar
STRANGE Manual Brake Cylinder
SJM Alternator Relocation Braket
SJM ABS Delete
GRANT Steering wheel , w/ quick release hub
Innovate Wideband
DART LT1 CNC PRO 1's ( still getting cnc work)

All in all, i have pulled about another 200 lbs off the car. It will be down in the low 3000 lb class before it hits the track in April

I'd be proud to have just the boxes to all that stuff! Good job on all that stuff there. I can't wait to see it run at the shootout. What am I talking about...I wanted to see/hear it last winter when you did my car!

Good array of parts there. I would also like to know about the AFCOs, and also, how do those Strange brakes hold up on the street?

I bought the AFCO's and Madman parts at Thunder racing, they have the price on the site. The Strange brakes i bought from SJM.

Bret Bauer has the heads, and single plane intake. He is setting those up for me. I'm not sure if he is selling these to everyone, i think they are only for a select few. He doesn't mess with many lt1's anymore.

It was easier than pulling a trany at the race track. It wasn't bad at all, i rented the puller from Vato zone. Other than that not much work to it.
Grant steering wheel 470-1080=199.99
quick release hub-470-3021=112.99

One thing if you buy quick release , you have to relocate your horn. If you dont buy the quick release then you have to buy a adapter plate, not sure on the pt #..

How did you dial in you rear mount vortec distributor at 0*?? I know on my truck i have to take it to the dealer and they plug in a tech II. But on a Lt, or even a OBDI is it possiable.. I am debating on a FAST EFI , but I can decide if i need it. I would like to run it in Sequential fire not batch, even though i have heard it doesn't make much difference.

Did you ever get us a bell housing ?

Regardless of how the car runs i would like to line up next to you once, just for fun... Ok maybe for braging rights ,if "I" win, lol..

I'm trying to get the car back together asap, and get it dialed in so i might have a chance at give some of you guys a little competition..

Thanks everyone, see you guys there..
