misshift + black smoke??
misshift + black smoke?? so i'm messing around, and i downshift to 3rd, redline, then go to 4th and BOOM! car shakes crazy, i look in the rearview mirror nothing but black smoke, i can't even see the car behind me. i push the clutch in go to nuetral and coast a lil, put it in 4th and drive slow. it acted as if i went from 3rd to 2nd gear but i coulda sworn i went to 4th, so now i'm scared thinking i blew something, but the car drives fine, idles fine no more smoke, no leaks. what happened? even if i did the 3rd to 2nd misshift what caused all the smoke? and what to look for?
lol i think it happens to most m6 guys once luckly it didnt hurt mine i was going i think 70 and bam wap wap redline and pulled me back then back to fith cruzed a lil bit then realized nothing was wrong )but no smoke(
is the only way to tell is to pull it apart?

but heres the thing i'm almost 100% sure i didn't go to 2nd, i've done that once in my life and not in this car, it was like i went to 4th and didn't put it in gear all the way and the shifter grinded and shook and the black smoke. also i'm leaking gas at the connector to the fuel filter from the feed line, very small drips, could this have thrown my fuel pressure off, relating to the black smoke?
