I might brag about it cause I have pride in it..I built it, put alot of time in it..it runs great for what it is..and it's not really that big of a build, it can be ALOT nastier..

Too many people are goin with this "I'll smoke you on spray.."
What happened to good-ole All-Motor Racing..?

Hell..my old LT1 was a bad little bitch..would of been real nasty on Spray..but I wanted more power and went with the option of building a bigger Engine that would be at 600+hp all the time everywhere I went, not have around 600hp when I only pushed a button..that's just me though..

dont get robert in here..he did it for over 2 years...never poped until he made a mistake on MORE spray then that...

Here is some info for ya bro..did all kinds of work. I have about $8k in the Engine and the Tranny, hand-built it. I have a 6.6l 402ci LSX/L92 Stroker that is doing very well, killed a C6 Z06 with it already..

Then buy and LS1 Camaro and convert it back to LT1 appearance. Probably easier to do it that way, than to convert the LT1 car over. IMO

Yea my friend made it seem like it was cheap and easy up there a few threads ago but he knows better than that and i know what he tells me in person lol! Like i keep saying its all money u got to work with what u got and if u got the money u can do whatever u want! I got a good deal on my lt1 so thats what i got, if i had a chance to sell my lt1 i would and id get a ls1 car, but i would not for anything go through the trouble of putting a ls1 in a lt1 after what i have seen and heard in person not on here!!

its actualy very simple get a motor/tranny then a ls1 k member and steering linkage modify the trans crossmember and youre done...its in...wiring is actually pretty simple once you get diagrams the merv gave me a wiring diagram i looked for a while coulda got one from my mechanic in mesquite but hadent tried yet....once you get that all the wires are simple to find and see wher they neeed to go..
for fuel lines find a wrecked 98z and stick them on from the tank to the motor
swaaps done...then you only need a tune for fix the tach signal...and add an extra temp sensor for the temp gauge....

stock as in rod bolts rods crank pistons and heads minus springs

i not taking sides here, but why isnt it possible for him to beat a zo6? just cuz someone has that car, doesnt mean they know how to drive it... plus z06 isnt the fastest car in existance, yes they bad *** and would give my left nut to own one, but there plenty out there that will rape it twice over... i just sayin, who the **** cares... its the frickin internet, why must we fight over nothing? feels like i in ****** kindergarden fighting over the toys at break time...or "jimmi and johnny raced to the tree and back, but jimmi is calling bs because johnny has better shoes then him and its not fair"..come on....now back on topic please... thank you


as for other posts in this thread that are relevant to the origninal post....there is always an easier way to do something, but that doesnt always make you different.. or make it fun. i got the car because i got a good deal and its quick. it is fun, but i know when spring/summer rolls around, i will be used to the power and want more.. thats how i am, i just wanted to see what options there are.. i may stick with the lt1 and just find out the compression and slap a vortech on there. idk yet.. but i appreciate the input and will research it more intensly to see what route i will take..
