We have a LT1 Patriot Gold kit. It runs $255.00 for the complete kit, part #8401-BSBC. It will drop right in.

Gunnar, have you modified the retainers on that kit in the last year? I bought those from you when the LT1 kit first came out, and had problems with the retainers clearing my SA 1.6 rocker arms; I ended up using -.050 locks but didn't like having to run the higher spring pressures that resulted, and machining the seats wasn't an option for me at that point.

The issue was .250 tip valves (Manley Race series valves, P/N MAN-11522-8 and MAN-11521-8) and Crane gold Race SA rockers p/n CRN-10758-16.

Are stock LT1 valves .300 tip?

If you DON'T have .250 tip valves, or have NSA 1.6 rockers, or have stock rockers, the springs should be perfect for you. They fit the stock spring seats and clear the stock valve stem seals perfectly, as well as supporting up to .650/.660 lift. (depends how close you want to run them...)
