I thought longtubes were good for 20+ HP even on a stock engine. Or is it longtubes + catback?

I would agree if you daily drive it to get a shifter for the first mod. Then start with the cheep mods then do bolt-ons. I would also reconmend doing suspension after the bolt-ons. Then you can enjoy it instead of having no traction.

im partial to boost... i say just get an sc and headers and full exhaust, call it done... may cost a tad more(ok alot more) but in the future if u decide to build big, u have a big part of the build already

I fully agre, take a minute and figure out what you want the car for, ie strip only, street only, and go from there.

For a fun street car, a nice shifter (pro 5.0), 4.10 gears, headers and duals, and a good tune.
