How about a stall/60ft comparo guys?
I was wondering what 60ft's you guys are cutting and with what converter/stall speed as well. Im more interested in cammed or H/C cars but I know you bolt-on guys cut some good 60's as well. I'll start...
Hughes 10" 3000 RPM
Best 60ft 1.71 on 26" ET Streets
Bolt-on's
BTW-Im getting my converter restalled so Im debating on going with a 4K RPM or something smaller. I hope this might help me with my decision .

Art Car 9.5" 3200
Spohn Tq Arm
Billet LCA w/Heim joints
QA1 shocks on all 4 corners
QA1 275# front springs
Stock rear springs
3.73 gears
27x10.50-15 ET Streets
3400# raceweight
alot more goes into 60' than just converter and tire.
I have always been told your stall speed should be 3-500 rpm below your peak TQ.

You guys are cutting some impressive 60ft's, Im hoping for some 1.6x's when I get down the track with the new tranny/conv. My peak torque was around 4600 RPM so I figured a 4K conv should put right where I need to be.
I was reading something about shift extensions, how does that play into choosing a converter and the shift points your using?
