Finished my Car today!!!
like it says in the title. The car runs and sounds awesome! I have the headers running into the stock cat deleted ypipe and cut out directly after. Anyone looking to make their car sound absolutely nasty i highly recommend the gm 847 cam! Had to finish the car after I was involved in a hit and run in my pathfinder, ******* in a brand new lexus IS series ran a stop sign and sent me hard into a telephone pole. And while the beast is done for the time being it will be a few months yet before she is registered and on the road. Good luck with everyone elses winter projects! later guys

Pics, video, and sound clips soon (no batteries for the camera)
The car doesn't drive like stock, I haven't driven it much because I literally just finished it, after the cam install I did last summer, I drove it 25 minutes home to my house in Bedford and never got on it, I was using plates registered to a different vehicle and with my driving record It wasn't worth the risk.

Spring break starts friday so I'll be home to take video but for the time being some more info: Car was purchased summer 2005 (totally stock) with 95,xxx miles for $4,900, Black Hardtop, original 4 bolt main car, with a six speed. The night I bought it I took it to New England Dragway, where I ran a 14.01 intially (first time at the track) and brought it down later in the night to a 13.8, pretty respectable on street tires. First mods were new Yokohama z rated tires, and a moroso cold air intake, still in the summer of '05. In winter of '06 I felt it was time to get a little more outta her with a hot cam purchase, before I could install the hot cam I stumbled onto a local deal for an unused gm847, so the hot cam got the boot. Along with the gm847 I purchased ls6 valve springs, comp chromoly pushrods, but kept the stock rockers. I removed the heads to do some home porting and polishing, and in spring '07 I performed the cam swap with a co-worker. Upon completion the car developed the infamous p0300 miss-fire, which kept it grounded until July when I finally bit the bullet and brought to Patterson Chevrolet for diagnosis. The extracted the number eight lifter which was collapsed due to misalignment of valve train. I purchased a single new lifter and had them install it. Drove the car home and it ran absolutely ****. Later that month I bought used edelbrock headers, which I connected to my stock but de-catted y-pipe, while I awaited the return of my madz28 tuned computer. Last week I ordered a used loudmouth from a member which should be here thursday. I can't wait! I'm anticipating mid 12's with the car, and lower once I find a nice set of D/r's. video and pics coming guys, thanks for the interest!
