Default Fuel pressure safety

OK stupid question time.
I have a MSD 6AL with additional retard switch on order.
This is to add to my nitrous for safety, already have a window switch.
I want to include a fuel pressure safety switch, what pressure should I look for, and here goes... where does it fit ?
Pictures I've seen look like it has a threaded base, where does this go ?
Do I need anything extra ?
Dont laugh !
If I dont ask .............you know the rest

I can't tell which Zex kit you have, wet or dry but obviously the safety switch, should you choose to use one needs to be Teed off your fuel port. You can then run/break the ground wire before your n2o solenoid. I can provide you a picture if that is needed.

The pressure you are looking for is about 40 psi. 42 is the WOT pressure supplied through the factory regulator.

Now, you can pretty much forget about a FPSS if you buy one of the Air/Fuel Ratio Lean Shut-Down Switches from dynotune. They are a very reasonable $120 and work off your narrow or wide band oxygen sensors. These new meters not only display your air/fuel condition but allow more than one way to control ground or power to your nitrous system from user preset condition settings.

Look at this product:

Default Thanks 01Z28M6

Thanks 01Z28M6,
Looks good, I'm going to order one.
It's even got my Zex set up on the web site... one thing though, it says to connect the purple wire to the O2 sensor wire, I have the flat connector four wire harness, would you happen to know which one I should splice into (it doesn't say on the website).
Again thanks for your advice

I'm always happy when something helps.
Caspers Electronics sells the O2 sensor pigtail. It has the wire you need exposed and makes tapping into the O2 sensor plug n play. If you think you want to buy one of these it will save you from cutting into the sensitive wiring harness - $17 + shipping. Anyway, that is what I did. BTW, the "purple" wire is actually lavender and that is the what shows on the Casper Pigtail. I would need to get under my car to tell you if it is also lavender in the harness. I'll wager it is....

Thank You 01Z28M6
You have solved all my worries about connecting the A/F safety switch...
The Casper Pigtail is just the job.
I posted again with doubts about the wiring, missed your reply here
Thanks again.
